For a girl or boy?
I have a DD named Clover so I do like the sound of Clove. I didnt think of garlic at all. I do think of the actual 'clove' spice which isnt a bad association. Christmassy.
Not crazy about the sound of it-- maybe it's too abrupt?
I DO really like Clover for a girl, though.

I agree with this. Not a huge fan of Clove, although I wouldn't side-eye it on someone else's kid.
OkayKelci:I think of Hunger Games.
senoritaemily:Wasn't that the name of a character in Hunger Games? That's what it's making me think of. Not a big fan of it as a name...
this.
1. Like garlic?
2. Hunger Games
3. Do you mean Clover?
4. No.
It sounds incomplete to me. I said Clove outloud to myself several times and it just sounded like there should be...more. I hope that makes sense.

All of this...Clover is just as bad but I could accept it as a hippy nature name...Clove is just bad... its going to be tricky making sure the child never learns that her name isn't a name but is a bunch of garlic if she ever learns to cook...
Not a fan. Sorry
