amzlmm:I'm obviously in the minority here, but out of all the names mentioned in this thread, I like Greenlee the best. I've always been a fan of unique/nontrendy names but not so bizarre that...well, let's say even I would draw the line at something like "Moon Unit". I don't even know what All My Children isis that a soap opera?but it AMC seems outdated in the sense that I wouldn't think that anyone your child's age would know what it is either. That all said though.... I too would be hardpressed to go ahead with a name that 99 of respondents have said they find atrocious, lol. Best of luck and of course, congrats. [:]
Ha yes I agree it would be hard to go with it now that I've seen so much dislike!!! I thought it was cute and I don't like any names that IMO sound like a grandmother.. Gladys for example.. I don't know not a fan of G girl names and will prob go a different direction.. ;
I agree and it crossed my mind to say something (about the grandma-like names) but for some reason I held back. Honestly though, I absolutely agree a lot of the "G" names do sound very old-fashioned--Gladys, Gloria, Gertrude, etc. I think that's probably a good decision to go another direction--having all "G" names would be cute, but ultimately most important of course is to have a name that you absolutely adore! Follow your gut and I'm sure the perfect name will rear its head in no time. ;)
Edit: My top "G" names anyway (in no specific order): Gabriella, Gianna, Gisella, Gemma.
