DOR/Antagonist Ladies!

Hey Ladies,
Yesterday had my bloodwork ultrasound for day 7 of stims. I have 5 follicles between 10mm and 14mm and 10 more still under 10mm. I started cetrotide this am and go back in Sunday.
Curious if the cetrotide will prevent the ones that are still under 10mm from growing. I know I am DOR and consider myself lucky to even have 5 at this point, god knows I've had worse cycles, but I can't help but hope for more given this is my last cycle with my own eggs. Thanks in advance ladies!

(hugs))) I have not been given a DOR dx, but I don't have a lot of follicles I have 9 like last cycle, and I am on antagonist protocal.

It is amazing what tends to catch up towards the end of stimming. Last cycle I had like 4-5 then ended up with 9 follicles and mature eggs. Hang in there!!!!!

Cetrocide won't prevent follicle growth. So those that are under 10 will still keep growing, that said, you may or may not not get any more mature eggs as getting from "under 10" to 15 would be a biggish jump - but it could happen!

Short story - it's hard to tell what will happen.

But I'll be having lots of good hopes for you!!!

DX: Unexplained/MFI issues
Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid , more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal

Moving on to IVF.

Our lil' lost sparks:
5w3d loss 7/30/10 - EDD March 2011
8w loss 4/15/11 - EDD November 2011
8w3d loss 8/2/12 - EDD March 2012
4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2012

IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!! FET 5/31/13

Good luck! If your largest is at 14 I think under10s stand a chance of catching up. Good luck.
Me: 39. DH: 41. TTC since 2009.
FSH: 9.5 at highest. AMH (11/2011): 0.9. AFC: 10ish. HSG: Normal. SA: Normal.
July 2011 - Feb. 2012: 2 Clomid/TI cycles; 3 injectables/IUI cycles. Good response but BFNs.
Dec. 2011: Laparoscopy (clear) + hysteroscopy to remove uterine polyp.

April 2012: IVF #1: FSH 9.2, AFC 7-8. Antagonist protocol.
Started stims (300iu Gonal-F, 150iu Menopur) 3/28.
Added ganirelix 4/1. Trigger 4/5 (7 follies). ER 4/7: 7R, 0M, 0F. :-(

Nov. 2012: IVF #2: Long Lupron protocol.
Started Lupron 10/27. AFC 10+. Started stims (300iu Follistim, 150iu Menopur) 11/8.
Trigger 11/18 (7 follies). ER 11/20: 9R, 1M, 1F. 3dt of my one 6-cell embie on 11/23: BFN.

Dec. 2012: Hail Mary IUI cycle with leftover IVF meds: BFN.

Feb. 2013: IVF #3: Estrogen priming protocol.
Pre-AF: estro patch + ganirelix. AFC 8-10. Started stims (450 Follistim, 150 Menopur) 1/28.
Added ganirelix 2/4. Combined Lupron/HCG trigger 2/10 (6-ish follies).
ET 2/12: 6R, 1M, 1F w/rescue ICSI. My embie didn't make it. :-(

July 2013: DE IVF #1

The cetrotide will prevent the bigger ones from ovulating but doesn't stop the growth of the smaller ones. Hope some of the small ones get a nice growth spurt to increase your count.  

TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:39 and BRCA1+, DH:45
DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality
5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN
DE IVF#5 11/12 bad embryos= BFFN
FINAL DE IVF #6 1/13: cancelled as second donor backed out during stims
Was added last minute as 3rd recipient to new donor on 1/18; ET1/23/13
2/1/13 BFP for the first time ever; Beta hell for several weeks: miscarriage 7 wks

Aww thanks so much for checking in!

I was very pleasantly surprised that I have 3 more follicles over 10!

This makes for a total of 8 measuring between 11 to 17, which I know is on the lower side, but its the best we are going to get out of me! I go back in 2 days and may trigger that night, so i feel like its a good amount for them to mature.

Again, thanks again. It meant a lot to check in tonight and know you have my back.
