6 weeks: impossible to work productively!!

I am so exhausted all the time, and today I started with morning sickness so I even arrived at 10:30 a.m. :(

I don't want to tell my boss just yet, but I feel he is realizing that I am not being as energetic and productive as normally. I travel around 50% of the time for work, and I am afraid of pushing myself too hard, yesterday I was agonizing on my way back home and it was only a 6 hour trip (1 hour flight + airport time + taxis)...

Anyone in similar situation? Any energy boost you have found?

Yes, I'm in the same situation and no, I haven't found any solutions. My productivity is the same, but my energy and personality are not. I have decided to tell my boss today or tomorrow rather than wait so that, just in case, I am protected by California's Pregnancy Disability Leave regulations. The regulations give me up to 88 work days off (unpaid) with my job protected and health insurance continued. I have a computer job, so I see no reason to drag myself in (a 1 hr drive) for a 9 hr workday I could accomplish by myself at home, if not feeling well.

I too am in the same boat. I work a 10 hour day at work 6 days a week and lately with the m/s, I spend half the time in the bathroom puking then at my desk trying to keep up energy and maintain focus. I have not told my boss but more for personal reasons, he is good friends with my husbands ex wife, mother of his two kids, and we have not told them yet. And we don't want them to hear it from someone other than us, so I roam around here looking and feeling like crap, doing my job half ass, and unfortunately it won't be getting any better until mid december when we can finally tell his kids. Then I won't have to worry about getting let go for being less productive. :(

Yes! I feel the same way. There are times during my work day that I want to crawl under my desk and take a nap. It takes me 45 minutes on the subway each morning and I rarely get a seat but I feel so sick!! I wish that I was showing already so people would offer me their seats. I try to read my pregnancy books and rub my belly but it hasn't worked yet. I have found that going for a walk outside helps (I am in NY so its cold outside) or eating a piece of fruit.

It is taking me longer do complete assignments but so far nobody has said anything. I am hoping for a promotion in the next few months so I am going to try and wait before I tell anybody at work.

It really sucks that we need to "hide" it until we get our promotions... :(  while sometimes men get it even faster because they need to support a bigger family haha
