Help...up all day!

8 wk old has been up demanding attention, movement (has me walking around) and is generally fussy! He has been eating ok and sleeping pretty well at night. He used to pull this business at night, but now it is more intense and during the day. This has been going on all week!! Driving me nuts...can't do anything, but try to calm him. Help!...FTM is concerned/confused! (sorry, typing 1 handed!)

Sounds like a growth spurt. Luckily he's sleeping at night for you!

Try cutting out dairy and wear him in a carrier.

If he's fed, dry, burped, not gassy and tired I would try white noise. My favorite is the hair dryer. Puts my kids out in minutes. GL!

Alsi, if your LO is gassy I do colic tummy massages and colic calm.

he does suffer from gas & reflux too, but we are treating this w/Zantac & Mylanta per ped. However, this fussiness has switched from night to day. All week he has been up for more than 8 hrs and fussy off & on.He is very alert at these times until something ticks him off. I do breastfeed & colic calm seems to help, but I'd like to know why the time shift & some increase in intensity? Thanks

The hair dryer is a miracle worker. There are some pretty good apps on your phone that simulate a hair dryer so you don't burn yours out. Make sure it's as loud as possible!
