Throwing food

DD will be a year on Thanksgiving and lately feeding her has been a nightmare. She constantly hangs over the side of her high chair and tosses food to the dogs as well as her sippy on the floor. This morning I separated the dogs thinking she liked their reaction/attention, but it only resulted in me stepping on pieces of banana since the dogs weren't playing vacuum for me. If she only did it at the end of her meal I would just say that feeding session is over, but she does it from the second she gets food on her try and at all meal times. She only eats finger foods has refused pures since about Sept and eats 4 times a day with milk at each sitting, she usually gets a snack too. Any suggestions? TIA

DS does this too. He takes one bite, then the next goes to the dog. I just let it go, at least he's learning to share!

DS eats what he wants and throws what he doesn't like on the floor.  I wish the dog would eat it, it would save me the trouble of picking it up.

Ha! Glad to hear I'm not the only one! I think my frustration gets exacerbated when DH thinks we should handle it but with no ideas how. I think we'll just continue with the dogs getting extra food and her at least getting something : thanks ladies!

Exactly!  Just look at it like the dog is getting WAY more fruits and veggies than it probably would normally LOL.
