Crosshairs moved - chart stalk please? :)

This is my first cycle charting, so I was thrilled when I got +OPKs starting on Sunday along with EWCM, DH and I had sex on all the right days, and after a few days of high temps after the initial temp spike Sunday to Monday I got crosshairs showing I ovulated on CD8 (Sunday).  However, when I went to put in my temp this morning, my crosshairs all of a sudden moved, now they show me as having ovulated on CD10 (Tuesday).  I'm just wondering if it's normal for crosshairs to move throughout charting, and if there's any reasoning as to why it would change?  Just for curiosity sake I tried putting in different temps for this morning to see if either a higher or lower temp would change the crosshair movement, but no.  Only when I deleted today's temp entirely did the crosshairs return to CD8 ovulation.

At any rate, I know it doesn't affect what's already happened BD-wise, what's done is done and according to the new crosshairs we still had sex O-3 and O-2, but the curious cat in me is just wondering what might make that date move forward, especially when there are no more +OPKs, fertile CM signs, etc.?

Crosshairs do move as you add more data. You had a few days of higher temps so FF moved the coverline up.

For your case, I think the higher temps and the + OPK at day 9 moved the O date. You can play around with FF and see what made it change.

From looking at your chart, I think it is really hard to tell if you O'd on day 8 or 10, so keep that in mind when deciding to test.

I agree with this. I've had my CH move around before. I think I would say that your CH are right now because you don't usually get a + opk after O. My bet is on CD 10. Good luck!

Good to know, I did wonder about that - my + on CD8 was very much on the fence, could have gone either way, CD 9 was definite, and then CD10 was on the fence so I gave it a - because it wasn't a for sure + in my eyes but certainly could have been the tail edges of the surge.  Thanks!
