Baby Shower

Hey everyone. I was just wondering when are all of you doing your baby showers and where are you going to have them at?

I am thinking of doing mine February 3rd, which will put me at 32 1/2 weeks. I wanted to do it at a local Tea House (super girly since I'm having a girl), or at my Mom's house, which is set up really nicely as well.

i am hoping to also have mine at around 32 weeks. but since my mom and sister are throwing the shower it is up to them where it will be. i would imagine that it will be at one of their houses. cant wait!!!!Party!!!

My shower (for LO #1) was around 35-36 weeks, which was a little later than ideal but it worked the best with everyone's schedule. It was a brunch at a local tapas restaurant.

My shower was when and where my host could have it, which was my mother's house at 36 weeks. It was wonderful.

Mine is being thrown February 3rd.  It was originally going to be at my SIL's house (she and BFF are throwing it) but now its going to be at my house so everyone can see the nursery all set up (thankfully it's mostly done)!

Setting the date and the location should really be a cooperative effort with your hostess, since her availability and budget need to be considered.

My host picked the shower date and the venue. I actually dont know the venue yet (its a surprise) but I know that it will be at one of my favorite nice lunch places (we have quite a few around here!!! I will be having it on the 1st of December which I will only be 27 1/2 weeks at that point but it works out perfectly because my husband is military and we will be getting restationed from south ga to upstate NY in the middle of January and with all of the Holidays she wanted to do it before then which works out great for me as well! I'm so excited and can't wait.. i feel so blessed to have friends that love us and are just as excited about our little boy as we are!!

2nd baby so no shower here.  1st shower (for DD#1) was at the hostess's house (my BFF) at about 36 weeks.

I am going home to NY for thanksgiving next week and since that will be the only time I go home before the baby, my sisters are throwing a gender reveal/baby shower. I will be 20.5 weeks! I will have another in TX where I live down the road!

I will be having mine mid January due march 22nd ill be 30 weeks. I don't want to be waddling around and be uncomfortable in front of my guests. The earlier the better, I say. But we will have to wait until after the holidays.

Very cute! I am doing am early sono at 16 wks to determine gender. My Aunt asked me when I want a baby shower. I just said after the 1st of the yr before May when I'm due LOL. My daughter who ia now almost 8 I had mu shower at least a month before my due date that way I had time to get the things we needed that weren't gifted to us.
