Favorite things your LO says/does... :-)

Hey, All,

I'm grading non-stop, so I thought this might be something fun to do.

What are some of your favorite new things your LO says or does?

Liam *loves* pretending to sleep. He curls up with a blanket and pillow and scrunches his eyes closed tight. He thinks this is hilarious!

And he just started asking, "What?" and "Why?" I don't think he knows what they mean, but it's so cute!

K picks up a stuffed animal, hugs it close and says "Awwww!" and then makes a smooching sound as she kisses it.  Melts my heart!

I love the way she dances. The only thing I can compare it to is the happy snoopy dance- head thrown back, eyes closed, mouth open wide in a giant smile, arms up over her head.

She tries to sing Twinkle Little Star and her ABCs, which are adorable.

When she gets really excited, she says, "Toodle oodle oodle loooo" really quickly. It's like she wants to tell me something she's really excited about, but she can't, so this is her, "Zomg I'm so freakin' excited" word.

When I get home from work, he hears me come in the door and calls out "Mama, mama, mama, mama!"  Melts my heart.  He also likes to spin in circles, arms out, and yell "Wheeee!"

Caleb doesnt say much yet, but he is so cute when he climbs to the top of his little slide and says "mmmm...mmmmm....mmmm!" This is his form of "One! Two! Three!" which DH always does when Caleb is ready to slide down. Cracks me up. He also knows enough now to hide his face if he is doing something naughty, which I guess I think is good :.

DS recently started saying "yes," which in his little voice is so cute!  He always says it like it's a question but uses it appropriately.  The other thing is that he loves pretending different things are hats and balancing them on his head.

he says "help"...sounds like hep when he says it but he says it whenever he can't reach something usually something he shouldn't be touching anyway. but its just so cute the way he looks up with a furrowed brow and asks for help. this week he stopped calling me momma and now calls me Mommy...it sounds so grown up..

shaindelr if you get a second would you go to the attachment parenting board and read the "throw in the towel" post. I think she could use your advice.

DS's favorite snack is cheese and he has started asking for it constantly- "CHIZ? CHIZ?"

If DH or I even mention anything cheese related (cheesecake, mac and cheese, the fact that we needed to buy more cheese), he immediately runs to the fridge and shouts "CHIZ!"

We have been going to the zoo a lot recently too so we are working on animal sounds. So far monkey is my favorite- it's pretty much just a loud squeal. <3

Andrew picks up our phones and says "Cheese!"  I guess we take too many pictures of him. Wink

He also calls every ball a basketball, including his beach ball. It's so funny to hear him say "baa-dih-ball" as he's carrying it around the house.

Oh, and he learned the word "pizza" recently, which is funny  because we don't even have pizza that often.  His one dinosaur book has a picture of one holding a pizza and he gets all excited and yells "pee-za" when he sees it.

He has been saying "I'm mad!" when ever he gets frustrated, but he says it like "I mah" in his cute high pitched squeaky voice. It's so stinking cute.

Yesterday we were at the park since the weather was so nice and after almost an hour of playing he waved bye to everyone, grabbed my hand and started walking to the car. Usually I'm the one making him leave before he wants to so it was adorable how he was like ok mama, time for us to go now. I love how independent he is getting.
