Yea or Nay? Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper Organic Cocoon (clicky poll)

So, I'm on a tight budget, and I'll be purchasing a crib secondhand, regardless of what I get. At first, I was stuck on the idea of an Arm's Reach bassinet (mini or original, didn't matter), the kind that drops down on the side so you can stay lying down while you pull baby to you to nurse.

Then, I found this thing. None of the other bassinets from Arm's Reach are made of organic materials, and I'd read reviews about the regular bassinet / crib reeking of chemicals. The reviews look pretty good, and I'm thinking I'll get this instead of the standard Arm's Reach co-sleeper.

The main thing I'm concerned about, being a FTM and not well-versed in the ways of baby lifting and setting down, is that it apparently has a small opening through which to put baby, and it rocks a lot while you do it. Personally, I'm going to be a big time baby-carrying mama, so I kind of don't think being super-still will be necessary... but each baby is different. So, I don't know.

Any thoughts? Opinions? This will be my primary baby-sleeper, and will sit right next to my bed in modified co-sleeper fashion.

Any/all input is appreciated!

Is this cocoon a good idea for a FTM's primary sleeper?

I *personally* think it looks like a waste of money.  I have the regular co-sleeper and I never thought it smelled like chemicals.

The cocoon has a weight limit of 15 lbs.  My son was 15 lbs at 3.5 months, which wouldn't have allowed us to use the cocoon very long.  You also have to stop using it once your baby starts rolling over, which you have no idea when that will be.  I love that I can use the co-sleeper bassinet for a long time: it's used as a bassinet next to our bed, I will eventually move it to the living room for a play-pen of sorts, and I will use it as a travel bed  (I've used it for all of those things already for DD).

Thanks for the input!

Also, lol @ the people (person?) who voted the 4th option.

Have you looked into maybe sidecaring your crib next to your bed? I kinda wish I would have done this from the start. It saves the cost of the cosleeper. I have a cosleeper and do really like it though. http://sidecarcrib.m.webs.com/site/mobile?dm_path=2Findex.htmfw_sig=053dff24502fbe4206eb59d6b66ac389fw_sig_premium=0fw_sig_session_key=00ea4f0c0baa42247aee95f66b95f9184c25a9bb9aefcfe545763480013c0db430096149fw_sig_is_admin=0fw_sig_site=30096149fw_sig_permissions=nonefw_sig_access_token=d9f160fc265cf1ee03eeb05a60837e6f56044d4afw_sig_time=1353364640622fw_sig_permission_level=0fw_sig_tier=0fw_sig_social=1fw_sig_url=http://www.freewebs.com/sidecarcrib/fw_sig_api_key=522b0eedffc137c934fc7268582d53a1fb_sig_network=fw2202

I would personally get the fisher price rock n play before getting the ar cocoon. You can get a used rock n play for 20 or 25 dollars and it will have already off gassed.
