My ankles and legs are killing me! Anyone else?

I swear it feels like I twisted both ankle, and my calfs are just in so much pain. No swelling at all, and I have only gained 5lbs so I am sure it is not from weight gain. Anyone else feeling like this? I have an appt in a few days so I will ask then, and lovely google seems to not want to find someone who is not swollen even when you type not swollen :)

Yes! My ankles and calf muscles have been killing me since about 6 weeks. I'm on my feet all day at work, and after 2 days in a row, I'm in tears I'm in so much pain. I'm a marathon runner, so I'm no wimp about pain, but I literally feel like I ran a marathon the day before every single day when I wake up.

When I talked to my doctor, she said supportive shoes and support hose and resting as much as you can.... Just one of those things you kind of have to suck it up and deal with.

Mine are killing me. I haven't gained any weight but I am carrying extra weight to begin with. I had a massage last week and she mentioned swelling feet but I don't think they look swollen. I am going to the Dr. today so I am going to try to remember to ask.

YES!  It totally sucks!  I read that sometimes the same hormones that cause your pelvis area to loosen up can cause the joints in your wrists/thumbs to loosen up and cause carpel tunnel type pain.  I have experienced pain in my wrists as well as in my ankles and legs this pregnancy.  I was wondering and plan to ask the OB if they could be bothering me for the same reason.  ugh it's so painful though!

Yes. Everyday. I had a friend of mine who is a doula, tell me that it's probably a lack of magnesium or potassium.

Yes and unfortunately it will last till the end of pregnancy   I too am on my feet all day and when I have a moment I soak them in a foot bath with Epsom salt.  Then for 15 minutes I use a ice pack on them while my husband does the dishes!  I get away with this every night thanks to him. . And when I am really lucky my husband massages my feet, ankles and calves.
