Hi, I feel like I have heard every possible US baby name. I am wondering what the popular baby names are where you are currently living, specifically for a girl.

I live in the UK.

The top five names for boys in 2011 were: Oliver, Jack, Harry, Charlie, James

The top 15 girls names in 2011 were: Lily, Emily, Isabella/Isabelle, Sophia/Sophie, Charlotte, Olivia, Ava, Chloe, Isla (pronounced Eye-La), Amelia, Jessica, Grace, Evie, Ella, Mia

 

I also know little girls called Imogen, Alice, Briony (BrY-O-Knee), Annabel, Abigail, Martha, Freya, Orly, Gillian, Elenna and Caroline.

My son is Isaac and his baby boy friends are Freddie, Samuel, Jacob, Noah, Alexander, Daniel, Benjamin, Angus, Lincoln, Robert, Archie and Theo.

I'm in Scotland

Boys: Jack, Lewis, James, Logan, Alfie, Archie, Daniel

Girls: Sophie, Olivia, Ava, Isla, Claire, Freya, Poppy, Maisie

In the newborn group I am in the names are: Richard (DS), Archie, Alex, Hannah, Poppy, Amelia.

I hear the names Skye and Morag (pronounced more-ak) a lot for girls. I hear a lot of Dan for boys.

Is see this is an older thread, but where I live (Belgium, Flanders) this is the top 10 for girls:

Emma, Marie, Elise, Louise, Julie, Lotte, Noor, Fien (pronounced Feen), Nina, Amber 

And for boys:

Lucas, Wout, Louis, Liam, Mathis, Noah, Lars, Vince, Leon, Kobe
