F@%& Me- Low E2 at trigger? DOR girls? Experts?

Last Monday (after 3 days of stims) I had seven follies between 8-10mm - E2 147

Thursday (after 6 days of stims) I had seven follies between 10-14mm - E2 311

Saturday (after 8 days of stims) I had six follies at 17, a 14, a 12, and a 10. I did one last stim night that night and triggered yesterday. 

I *just* heard from the Dr that my E2 was 482 on Saturday. 

Um, wha?! Someone level with me.. am I only looking at 2-3 eggs with that kind of E2?

Him: 27 ~ perfect swimmers
Laparotomy with partial oophorectomy 8/2009 to remove cysts/endo. Stopped BC 4/2010.
Multiple clomid rounds from 11/2010 to 6/2011. ~ All BFN
IUI w/clomid 7/2011. IUI w/clomid & injectables 11/2011 & 1/2012. ~ All BFN
Occasionally using acupuncture.
IVF #1:EPP 5/2012 ~ (4R, 3M, 2F w/ICSI). Both embies txfrd. ~ BFN
BCP to manage Endo from 10/2012 to 12/2012.
PAIF/SAIF always welcome!

Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid , more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal

Moving on to IVF.

Our lil' lost sparks:
5w3d loss 7/30/10 - EDD March 2011
8w loss 4/15/11 - EDD November 2011
8w3d loss 8/2/12 - EDD March 2012
4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2012

IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!! FET 5/31/13

Sorry, yes. I forgot to put it's an antagonist protocol. I realize the ganirelix can lower E2 falsely.. but by how much does it lower it? Am I looking more at 3-4 eggs?

:( I'm sorry if I'm going crazy. I went from being an MFI girl and no real issues (the fibroids and endo were removed via lap).. to suddenly I was already on BCPs for this cycle and they did my AMH, found it was low, started u/ss and found I don't have many follies. I'm having a super hard time with this.

TTC since June 2011
DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test :(
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found :(
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.
SA 8/17/12: Zero sperm
SA 8/23/12: Zero sperm
9/26/12: SPERM FOUND! 15 eggs thawed, 12 survived and were ICSI'd, only 3 fertilized normally. Refrozen as embies and will thaw in Nov. Please survive and grow!
All 3 survived the thaw on 11/15/12!
FET 11/17/12: transferred 2, one 4B, one 4C. Beta 11/30:BFFN
moving on to DS
DIUI#1 2/18/13,50mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta 3/4/13: BFN.
DIUI#2 3/19/13, 50 mg Clomid cd 3-7, Ovidrel trigger, Beta #1 (14dpiui) 4/2/13: BFP!!!! 150. Beta #2 4/4/13: 420 Beta #3 4/8/13: 2691. Beta #4 4/15/13: 15,086
1st u/s 4/8/13 shows one gestational sac
2nd u/s 4/15/13 shows yolk sac, fetal pole and early heartbeat
3rd u/s 4/25/13: measuring right on track. Heart rate 148 bpm

Ganirelix can reduce E2 levels but I don't know how much it's true for each individual person - it may vary greatly.

My E2s on ganirelix were up in the 1400's or so... so... I'm not sure. We wound up with 5 on one cycle and 6 eggs on another.

I would say that both our antagonist cycles produced the best looking embryos we ever had and I did technically get PG on both cycles.

So I know it's crushing to be keeping track of the numbers and feel dismal before a retrieval but try and keep the mentality that it's quality over quantity and your magic bean might be one of those retrieved.

Im so sorry, I torture myself analyzing my estrogen levels too and it drivesme crazy!! It's so discouraging!

If you didn't trigger until the day after your bloodwork, be assured that your estrogen was higher on your trigger day. I'm not sure how much more, but definitely higher, it's amazing how much the number jumps up in a day or so.

Fingers crossed the trigger is what they need to kick into full gear and mature! Hope you get good news! Hang in there.

No advice either but wanted you to know I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts and hoping everything turns out okay.
Me 37 MH 40 - TTC since June 2010 - dx with Severe MFI. Straight to IVF with ICSI. IVF #1 - ER 06/13/12 - 9 Eggs Retrieved - 4 ICSI'd - only 2 fert. 06/15/12 - 2DT - 3 cell & 6 cell with fragmentation. Beta 06/29/12 - IVF #1 = BFN. 07/20/12 - WTF Appt -Told by our RE to quit IVF. Second Opinion from RE is good. IVF#2 - November 2012. Estradiol Pills Started 11/6. Stims start 11/16. ER 11/26 - 7 eggs retrieved - all mature. 4 fertilized with ICSI. ET 11/29 Transferred 3 embryos. Beta is 12/10. 1st Beta 81 2nd Beta 160 and 3rd beta 360!!! First U/S 12/21/12 - We saw one beautiful gest. sac. 2nd U/S is 01/04/2013 - H/B 183 02/05/13 - NT Scan - everything looks good and IT'S A BOY!!! EDD 08/19/12
