Ultimate Sheet Saver

I am SO mad at myself! Registered for 2 of these on the recommendations of my friends. Did most of the baby laundry/nursery prep this weekend, and washed them both. THEN tried to tie them onto the crib. Of course, they didn't fit - the elastic wouldn't work around my crib corners/spindles.

I cannot believe I just wasted all of (their) money on something I can't use, and I'm sure BRU won't take them back washed. *sigh*

 Damn it!!!

Anyone have any ideas? Have this happen to you? I didn't realize my crib was so "abnormal"!

You can always use them under your sheet just like the other mattress savers out there? Thats what I have always used!

do you still have the packaging?  how will BRU know you washed them?  I have a sheet saver and I don't think it came with tags on it, it just came in a plastic resealable package.  Just put it back in and tell them it doesn't fit.

After an emergency cerclage and modified bed rest at 21.5 weeks, we welcomed our babies via scheduled c-section at 38.5 weeks! Truly blessed!

I would totally take them back! If they are supposed to fit a standard mattress, and they don't, I'd consider them defective.

I have 2 of them as well, and found I had to use the extra snaps from one (the spare) on the other (one in the crib) to get around the corner posts of the crib. I don't think it ever stretched fully to the edges of the crib, but it covered the areas that were likely to get wet in the event of a diaper leak/DS getting sick.
