OK ladies, let's not give this man too hard a time. But good to see you're laughing about it. While I can certainly appreciate this situation, remaining as stress free as possible during the 2WW, implantation, etc stages of a cycle can be important. There seems to be plenty of information out there on the benefits of low stress when it comes to getting that BFP. So while the comment may not have been a particularly well thought out one, relaxation is quite a good idea and may be of significant benefit. At least that's what I try to keep in mind when comments like that get thrown around.

 Best of luck.

If you could cite your claims, that would be appreciated. I've done extensive research reading medical journals and I have found the opposite. How stressed you are has no impact on whether or not you will get pregnant.

What's worse is that if you believe that stress affects it, then you are at a much higher risk of depression if the cycle fails.

My RE's office is of the belief that stress has no effect on implantation and/or carrying the child full term. One RE in the office has a published study about stress and miscarriage ...its literally called "Stress and anxiety do not result in pregnancy wastage." But...trying to remain stress free is helpful for my own sanity, of which I haven't got much left, eeek.
