Here! Exactly that! I had the same, irregular periods and then my first u/s on week 8 according to LPM and the sac was empty.... of course they told me it could be too early OR there could be something wrong. Then they scheduled a second u/s for one week later and there there was my small little pea and his small little heart beating. I was not 8 weeks but only 5 at the time of the first u/s because of my irregular periods, I actually got pregnant on day 31 of my cycle!!! I KNOW! O.O
I know it's very hard, I was crying half of the time in the meanwhile but try to give yourself some peace of mind and focus on other things during the day. Hopefully you will see your baby next week, did they schedule another u/s?
