AF...and pamprin

AF showed up finally and I have terrible cramps. I know Advil is out, does anyone know if Pamprin is safe? I know as a general rule acetaminophen is okay, but I didn't know if the other meds in it would be an issue. TIA!

I have no answer for you but I am such an Internet noob... What does TIA stand for? I wonder everytime someone posts it? Should I hide my head in shame? I'm sure when you tell me I will be like damn that was obvious and I am an idiot.

If you have AF, then you aren't pregnant and implantation isn't occurring, so you should be safe to use Advil.

Thanks. Wasn't asking if I was pregnant. Thought I heard never to take Advil while TTC since it will screw your cycle and ovulation. Appreciate the reply.

No, it can interfere with implantation so people avoid it in the 2ww. I don't think PP thought you were asking if you were pregnant, she is saying, since you aren't, you are safe to use Advil.

Advil/Ibuprofen is not safe to use during PG, but you are fine to use it to relieve AF cramps/pain!  It works a heck of a lot better than Tylenol!

I get wicked cramps during my first couple days of AF and use a mix of Advil and Tylenol (2 extra strength Tylenol and 1 extra strength Advil together every four hours) for those days. This was recommended to me (and my daughter, she gets it bad too) by our pharmacist, and I figure a couple days of Advil early in my cycle can't really do anything to affect things later.  I wouldn't function well without it anyways, so it's a choice I'm willing to make!

Both ovaries and left tube looked healthy and clear, so we'll see what the future holds for us.

I still use Advil during AF, like PPs said if you aren't KU Advil is fine, I just avoid it during the 2WW so it won't mess with implantation.
