Maternity Clothes = SNORE!!!!

Hi Everyone!

Ok- I'm 10 weeks today & my pants are beginning to feel tight. So, I started looking for maternity clothes & I HATE THEM!!! The only place so far that I like is Gap, for their long & lean full panel denim.

I've always taken a lot of pride in my clothing. I'm one of those people that will spend twice the amount on a particular item for the quality & classic cuts (but always waits for a good sale).

I've looked at motherhood maternity, target, Kohls, etc... & have been disappointed. Can anyone suggest an ONLINE retailer that sells great quality maternity clothing?!?! AND- If you were to pick your favorite pieces for your wardrobe, what would they be (I'm a homemaker, so I don't require dressy clothing)?

I just saw an ad for the site Ingrid & Isabel. It looked like cute stuff. Also, google Pink Blush maternity. Hope this helps.

My favorite stores are The Pea in the Pod and Gap.  

As far as favorite pieces..they would be my Seven for All Mankind jeans from The Pea in the Pod as well as the leggings from there with the "secret fit belly."  They were on the expensive side but are on there 3rd pregnancy and I pretty much wear them all the time.

I have bought a lot from Pea in the Pod. I mostly wear jeans and leggings with longer tops.  I've found a lot of cute and fashionable things.  I've also bought a few things from Gap and Ingrid & Isabel.

I have shopped at Loft, Pea in the Pod, and Hatch.  My first pregnancy was during the summer and I lived in dresses.  I would buy regular clothes in a size or two larger and then alter them when I was back to my normal weight. I didn't see the purpose in buying things I was only going to wear for a few months.

I know how you feel!!! I just fell in LOVE with pink blush maternity. They have some really trendy clothing, and stuff I can wear to a date night, a dinner, a wedding.. I am so in love. They have a lot of comfy options, too!! Check it out ASAP!

You can't go wrong with the Gap jeans.  They last forever!  I'm presently wearing a pair from 2007, on their 3rd pregnancy and they fit like new :)

Last pregnancy I bought a pair of Joe's Jeans from A Pea in a Pod and loved them. I wore them constantly and they are still in great shape. Someone mentioned asos.com as a good place to fine more trendy clothes. H&M has a small maternity section at one of their stores near me, and I imagine they must sell it online as well.

Unfortunately, a lot of the online stuff I have found is really expensive.  I got most of my maternity clothes last time at Motherhood Maternity.  Pink Blush Maternity has some cute stuff and it's pretty reasonably priced.  Good Luck!

Are you in the US? Count yourself lucky! Here in Canada we basically have 2 options for mat clothes (Thyme and Motherhood) and that's about it. I was surprised to find that many stores in the US have maternity sections...not like here. I just have to keep reminding myself that it's just for a few months.

I just checked out Pink Blush maternity...great suggestion, the clothes are really nice and more modern and less frumpy than the other sites.
