Is this a symptom of pregnancy?

I'm 26w6d along and when I woke up I felt like I was tilting and couldn't stand straight.  It was pretty freaky.  I leaned against the wall to get to the bathroom and sat down for a minute.  As I've been awake, it's gotten progressively better and I can walk now without leaning on something.  I still feel a little goofy in my head though, if that makes sense.  Like a little dizzy and out of sorts.  Is this common in pregnancy and what in the world was that?  Vertigo?  Should I do anything about it?  Thanks in advance ladies!

You might want to try drinking some water and a little snack before you get out of bed in the morning. Make sure you're getting enough protein. I would definitely let your doctor know at your next appointment too, to make sure your bp is ok. If you ever feel like you're going to faint, lay down and put your feet up above your heart, or to keep that feeling at bay, be fidgety and don't let your blood pool at your feet. Don't stop moving when you're standing. I have neurocardiogenic sycope and thankfully haven't had any fainting episodes during my pregnancy, knock on wood.

I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow and for the past week or so have been dizzy/light headed on and off especially if I sit up from laying down or bend over. However, I normally have vertigo on and off even prior to pregnancy. What I've heard is if your BP is ok and you are not dehydrated it could just be from an increase in blood flow.

Inner ear infection? Or a sinus infection? Sometimes any pressure can mess with your equilibrium. Feel better.

I had to stay home sick yesterday because of extreme dizziness. You should call your doctor to be on the safe side.  Mine made me go to the pharmacy to make sure my blood pressure wasn't high so I wouldn't have to go all the way into her office.

I'm doing better today but still a litle dizzy.  They told me in the mean time to drink a TON of water and make sure I'm eating every two hours.  It's the pits, I'm sorry you're dealing with this.
