Misspelling 'Nightmare'

I had a pregnancy dream last night, only the second I've ever had, and my H and I named our child...

Deavyd! ... As in, David!

In the dream, I don't know whether it was a boy or girl.

Now, I'm not even considering the name David, nor would I ever misspell a name to make it unique or different. I'm not a fan of that at all. So, I totally woke up like, WTH?! Am I spending too much time on this board? Haha

And, I hope this post doesn't give anyone any ideas... ;)

I pronounce that mess as "dee-uh-vide" so... that makes it BETTER!  When the pronunciation is like an enigma, but still gets you to mostly the same sounds whereby you  make the leap BACK to the original pronunciation, it adds something to the name, no?  :-)

I had one of those a few weeks ago where we names our boy Rageena. As in Regina, but his nn was Sylar. It was weird. 

My dads name is David and my mom wanted to name me Davidia, thankfully he talked her out of it.
