FTM with question on Thermometers

This is XP from 3rd tri board: I received multiple thermometers from my shower and I am wondering if I should keep them all, or return one. One is a pacifier thermometer, one is a 3 in 1 tip thermometer with tips for underarm, rectal, and oral, and then I received a healthcare kit that contains a thermometer (though I dont think that one is very good). Should I return one? If so, which one?

I would probably keep the 3 in 1 and the healthcare kit. The kit probably has more useful things but you're right it probably has a cheaper thermometer. The pacifier themometers are a cool idea but less accurate IMO.

If I had to choose one of those, I'd keep the 3 in 1. IMO, I don't think any of those are very extremely accurate, unfortunately. I spent $40 on an ear thermometer by the recommendation of our pedi, and I love it.  But like I said, if I had to choose- go with the 3 in 1.

I would keep the 3 in 1 as that seems the most useful. I would return the paci thermometer as I believe most pedi's want rectal readings during infancy.

Yes I agree. When LO had his first cold, the nurse on the phone wanted a rectal temperature.

I think the paci thermometers are pretty pointless and I wonder how accurate they are too. Usually the thermometers in the kits are crap but if you like the rest of the items I would just toss the thermometer. I would keep the 3 in one. We have pretty much always used an underarm.
