Mackenzie nn?

I like the name Mackenzie...I also like the nicknames Mac and Kenzie.  What do you all think?

We have different taste in names.  I dislike Mackenzie, Mac, and Kenzie.  To be fair though, I don't like any names that start with Mac...especially for girls.

I think it's cute enough, but way too popular for my taste. I also strongly dislike the nn Mac.

I like Elora much better.

Mackenzie is a trendy name that's losing altitude in the rankings, so it feels a bit past its prime.

I worked with a girl named McKenzie... her nn's around the office were Kenz, Mac, Lou (McKenzie Lou for some weird reason stuck), and Ken. I LOVE that name and don't really get the huge dislike for anything Mc on this board.

I like the name Mackenzie. I think it'll most likely get shortened to Kenzie unless you (or your daughter when she's older) ask to be called Mac.

I dislike the name...but as far as nn goes..Kenzie is the best I htink...What about Kezzie? or just Zee? Mac sounds too much like Mack to me which is very masculine and can come off as kind of egotistical (Think return of the mack/Mack Daddy etc).

I don't know any Mackenzies! I like the NN Kenzie the best. Dislike Mac because it sounds very masculine.

My dog's name is Mackenzie.  She is 7.  My DH named her (before I was around).  Personally, I think it is too trendy even for her. 

Her nn is Kenzie-girl.
