High HCG levels?

My last period started 10/4/12.  My doctor took blood on 11/5 to confirm my pregnancy.  When I got my results last week, it said that my HCG levels were 2440.  When my blood was drawn, I would have only been 4 weeks pregnant, right? Isn't that HCG level high?

Not really depending on when you ovulated. This chart is helpful:

The actual number isn't as important as to whether or not they double over 48 hour periods. Don't borrow trouble.

IF you ovulated on day 14 (which you likely don't), then it may be slightly on the high end. But more than likely you ovulated a few days earlier in which case your numbers are great.

It's a matter of it doubling in 48 hours.  Congrats

This is a great site, but it like others show that after 6000 or so, numbers do not double in 48. I have been on the search for this info because my numbers did not double, and now dr wants to do an early ultrasound although all information I can find supports betas taking 3 even 4 days to double after 6000 or so. Any info on this??
My numbers

5w4d 10374 this draw was about 6 hrs short of 48hrs from the one before
