Quinny Zapp as a carry on?

Has anyone tried to use the Quinny Zapp (in it's travel bag) as a carry-on? The dimensions are close. Might be like one inch over the height requirement, but I think it would be so much easier to use it as my son's carry-on item. TIA!

I had one, it was too big for under the seat and too awkward to carry on. I just gate checked it. Strollers don't always count in your baggage limit.

It's too big for most 737 bins I think. Maybe it would fit on a super jumbo jet like a 777. When we flew JetBlue we just gate checked it in the bag and it was fine. I did remove the sunshade because I was worried about the plastic on the side piece getting bent.
