I'm pretty sure every baby and every pregnancy is different!  She will arrive when she is ready!

You are 34 weeks- not even close enough to be making comments about being ready to meet her. She needs to stay put for at least 3 more weeks, preferably at least 5 more.

One would think when you went in for pre-term labor 2 weeks they would have stressed how important it was for her to stay in to full term (39 weeks). It's disgusting that you are wishing harm upon your child for your own selfish wants.

Wow, I didnt even realize she was only 34 weeks...darn bump mobile.

OP: LO needs to keep cooking for at least 3-5 more weeks. There can be so many complications with pre-term labor...you really don't want to wish for that.

I'm pretty sure you drop closer to labor with the more pregnancies/deliveries you've had. Maybe she has just started descending and not completely dropped yet. But like the PP said, every pregnancy is different. Good luck!!

This. With my last pregnancy I dropped around 37 weeks and DS was born at 41 weeks 6 days. At 34 weeks you have a while left, be patient momma, you'll meet your little girl soon enough!

I know it's exciting to think about meeting your daughter, but it's also important for baby girl to come when she's ready. I don't think there is a big correlation on baby dropping and impending labor as far as time frames go. When I was pregnant with DD, I would have days where I'd think she had dropped, but when I had my csection, she was all up in my rib cage.

Some people never drop, at least not visibly, so it really isn't a sign of impending labor. We're your last three LOs born early? Is that why you're so anxious now? Because 34 weeks is definitely too soon to be getting anxious like that.

I dropped significantly at 35 weeks, which was 3 weeks ago, and the LO is still just hanging out, getting lower and lower every few days. I'm super anxious because it means I'm getting near the end, but all it means is LO is getting ready.
