Nook Pebble Pure Mattress

Hello! I sure hope someone can help me out with this!

I've been looking all over to see if anyone has written about whether or not you need to use a waterproof mattress pad with this mattress. Descriptions of this mattress make it sound like it should be water resistant enough, but is it really enough?

I just don't want to spend so much money on a breathable super nontoxic mattress if I have to cover it up with more than a sheet!

I am not familiar with this type of mattress but you said it sounds like it is water resistant enough.  All crib mattress that I have seen are water proof.  The baby is in disposable diapers so there should not be any leakage so I do not understand why you feel you would need a waterproof mattress pad.  Call the manufacturer up and see what they have to say about waterproofing.

The Nooks are water resistant. It beads up and you wipe it off and then you can wash the exterior if needed. You would not use a pad with it. It would defeat the purpose.
