Yes, that's right! My crappy cycle ended on a positive note!!!! I just got done yesterday saying how I was not certain and too scared to test because I did not want to see a BFN. And I related it to the convo we had about Schrodingers Cat a few weeks back, about how until you actually test you are neither pregnant or not!
My temp on 10dpo dropped and I thought for sure that AF would show the next day. Then on 11dpo it went up. I told myself that if it stayed up on 12dpo I would test, but then it dropped again. This morning, 13dpo, at 5:15am, the alarm went off and I took my temp and had a fairly big temp spike! I layed in bed until DS & DH got up at 7:00 before doing anything! I then snuck into the bathroom and tested and BAM! Two pretty clear as day lines!
How I told the Hubby: With DS, DH was there when I POAS and we both watched as the two lines appeared. This time I wanted to make it a little more special, so I POAS without DH knowing. Then I pulled out the Big Brother t-shirt I bought back in Feb., threw it on DS and told him to go tell Daddy to look at his shirt! DH noticed right away and was so excited and he got teary eyed! He said it was the best surprise of his life!!!! DS still has no clue, and we don't plan to tell him until we're ready to tell the world at 12 weeks, b/c let's face it, no 2 1/2 yr old can keep a secret for anything!!!!
What we did: I was taking 100mg of B6 for the past three cycles, but I stopped when I ran out at the beginning of this cycle b/c I didn't think it was doing anything. I was taking PNV and charting my temp and CM. I had the longest cycle I've ever had, we only hit O-2 due to me Oing so late, and I got a UTI on O day! The odds seemed to have totally been against us!
The Mush: Thank you so much to all of you ladies! I will be honest, when I came here 8 months ago, I had no plan to get comfortable and figured I'd only be here for a short while. But I'm now happy I got to know so many of you and truly enjoyed coming here everyday! I'm rooting for all of you and if it's okay, I'd like to still post here and there and not lose touch with most of you!!!! Thank you again for all your knowledge, entertainment and support!!!!
