DoublePortion thanks!
SuzanneJesse I had an incidental finding of an ovarian cyst on a CT for an unrelated thing. Had follow up, ultrasound and ultrasound, then MRI...led me to a diagnostic lap with ovarian cystectomy, lysis of adhesions and a partial ooophorectomy on my left ovary. Basically my doctor said it was a "complete mess." My pathology was negative, but he said my cysts looked like endometriomas. That was 2 almost 3 years ago. When I started with RE, she said she wasn't sure I had endometriosis. Skip to current cycle, they kept finding a thickening in my lining, had 2 ultrasounds, then a saline ultrasound, she said she wasn't sure if it was a fibroid or something else. She wanted an MRI to get a better idea...which discovered I still have some endometriomas and this adenomyosis. My only real symptoms are that I have super heavy periods with lots of clots, lasting 7 days. There are like 2 to 3 days of severe cramps. It took me a long time to get here. I know they say endometriosis is best diagnosed with a diagnostic lap? Have you had surgery? Good luck with everything, hope my story helped. Kinda a modpodge.
