Not sure if any of you ladies are still in need of a monitor, but BRU has the 3.5 in. Motorola video monitor for $70 off, making it $139.99, $40 less than the smaller screen 2.8 in one.

I'm trying to figure out the difference between the one linked above (Manufacturer #:
MBP34) and the other Motorola 3.5 inch (Manufacturer #:
MBP36) for $239 (http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=12369628).

I wonder if the cheaper one is an older model?  There's no reviews posted, and I can't find any info on that model number online.

DH and I were just trying to figure that out, too, only the numbers were MBP36 and MBP36BU on BRU's site.  The one listed at $240 was the MBP36, and the other was MBP36BU?  The original price on the one we wanted was $240, but this one (MBP36BU) was $210.  I tried Googling MBP34 but couldn't find anything, so I'm not sure.

I couldn't find much Googling the two to compare, but I figure we'll hold off on returning our other one until that one comes in and we see if there's a big difference.  The main thing we could see based on descriptions is that the other one doesn't do the pan/tilt/zoom.  Not really sure if that's a deal breaker or not?

I believe the more expensive one can zoom around the room from the monitor portion where the other one can't.

 

i just returned the non zoom for the zoom version, worth every penny!!

can anyone confirm the zoom difference?

 I ordered the mbp34 but I won't be picking it until the end of january when I go to the US. 

I would think that this model has the zoom as it says it pairs with the mbp36 camera and it has the scrolling buttons on the handset which the mbp33 does not have.

 

I just called customer service and they were of no help to find out the difference. I think the agent was looking at the same specs as I was from their website and she was pulling at straws. ie. one says it has  lullibies and the other just says lullibies so maybe doesn't have five. 

 

FYI - this baby video monitor is now selling for 190. I am glad I bought it at the reduced price.

I received mine yesterday. Yes,it has a zoom. Only difference I can see is that mbp36 can tilt/pan from the parents' unit but mbp34 is manual tilt&pan. I don't know if it's a deal breaker for you but I'm keeping mine. I compared the manuals of both and everything else seemed to be identical.

thanks for the feedback. I was looking forward to using the tilt but I guess it is not a dealbreaker.

I'll be picking mine up at the end of the month.
