Weird nesting instincts

Does anyone else feel like the only place they want to be is home? Lately all I want is to be at home and whenever may husband and I go somewhere with in two hours I'm irritable and ready to go home. Then the second I get home it's like magic the second I walk through the door I feel better and relaxed. Is this normal or a sign of high anxiety?

How far along are you? I think this kind of nesting is normal.

I am a home body and want to be nowhere but home not only becuase I'm nesting but becuase I'm tired.

I brought some cross stitching stuff with me on our thanksgiving trip so I feel like I am still "doing something" for the baby... it is a silly thing but it makes me feel better Smile  I am a homebody myself I completely understand.

I get that way sometimes. Mostly because I am tired. I haven't started nesting yet.

I feel this way all the time, but I don't feel anxious or nesting I just feel most comfortable at home. I can rest, eat, and nap whenever I want to. I find being out draining because I have to be "on" either doing something or entertaining people.

When I get a little cabin fever me and DH got out for dinner but after 2 hours I'm ready to be back home.

I only want to be home lately because I am tired and just wanna be in sweats all the time! It's also draining to be out and even talking to people can be tiring.

Yep, I feel the same way except for the "relaxing as soon as you walk in the door" part.  We're in the process of moving, and everything is a mess, so I'm still super anxious even when I'm home...Kinda sucks, but it'll be over soon.

I'm 25 weeks and it just started about 2 weeks ago. I think it is because i'm tired and like someone else said when i'm at home I can eat, sleep, and just relax any time i want.

I'm only 23 weeks but I'll be totally honest i'd rather be at home than anywhere else. I'm spending my time cleaning and laundry etc. But I can wear what I want, eat when I want, and sit there and relax when ever I feel the need. I personally don't think its nesting, I think its me enjoying the ability to do what i want when I want (I won't be able to do that much more once Little Man gets here  )

I think it's normal.  I am a social butterfly, but I get the same feeling - "it's magic" when I step foot in the door.  I normally like being out and seeing people and doing things, but lately I love being HOME, baking cookies, watching TV, or just doing nothing.  I don't even care if I'm missing out on anything.
