I was nervous this morning about BRU, ours is a stand-alone but in a very crazy shopping center. I figured I would just do a drive-by (a little after 5AM, when the sale was set to start) and see if it was worth it (DH & I are from small families & we're all on a tight budget so we need to pick up any non-hand me downs at the lowest price possible)...We actually thought the store was closed at first- not one customer!
It was open and we got to enjoy having the store all to ourselves- for a store that's usually crazy on any given day, I loved my Black Friday exerience (including 50% off of already marked down clearance- yes, I'll take a $3 sweater and $1.25 onesies, haha) even at 27 weeks!
I hope everyone had a good day whether you went out or stayed in but I just wanted to share my BRU Black Friday experience (this year was wonderful, done our shopping & back in the car in 30 minutes- home before 6AM...who knows what next year could be like...) as compared to my horrible experience at TRU last year (stuck in lines for hours). Happy Holidays!!
BTW- I figured I should explain that we figured we'd all just head home if it was a madhouse, I promise I would not have put myself and the baby in danger just for a sale.
