Wendell Reid?

This is all academic at this point, but DH and I were talking about the name Wendell, possible mn Reid, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. What are your thoughts?

Reid is alright, I just dislike Wendell.

 I considered this for a while because it's my grandfathers middle name.  Every time I told someone the name I disliked it more and more, and most people hated it. Too old manish is what most people said.

I love Wendell because its my cats name.  And I love Reid for no particular reason at all.
You dont always get what you want but sometimes you get what you need

I'm surprised I'm in such a minority but I really like Wendell.  I definitely like it over Reid and I'm actually not sure about the two of them together, actually.  I might be a tad concerned about teasing nickname of Wendy.
