nycnola:A normal hot bath is definitely not 100
degrees. I just checked with science-nerd DH to be certain, but he says
water doesn't even boil until 212 deg F. Take your hot bath and enjoy
worry free.
Ha. Mine are well over 100 degrees. My son
takes baths over 100 degrees. Average bath water temp is 101-106. OP-

And you really had to check what temp water boils at? Seriously? And WTF does that have to do with the question?
This.
To me, a bath isn't comfortable unless it's (well) over 100 degrees. That's why I've given them up.
But, since water doesn't boil until 212 degrees, I guess you're safe then, eh?
Ok now I totally agree. Because I'm used to Celsius, I thought maybe I was crazy and my baths weren't 100 degrees. But then I had my bath last night and actually took the temp and it was 41 degrees, so that's almost 106, right? 100 degrees would be freezing to me!
Anyway, the further my little experiment, I took my temp while in the tub and it didn't get past 99 degrees, so I'm assuming its ok.
Thanks for the responses and the link to APA. Looks like its fine as long as you use common sense about it, like most things. :
