Red spotting

Let me preface that I already have put a call in to the ob and I plan to follow up in the morning, but I wanted to see if anyone on here had ants similar experiences and what their results were.

I began slight pink/brown spotting on Sunday after intercourse. I had that with my previous pregnancy and new it was a possibility and not to worry too much. Continued spotting just slightly MonWed. I called my OB's nurse Nd she said it should still be ok and it might be just implantation bleeding I am 5/6 weeks along. As of tonight, I had bright red bleeding every time I wipe, but not enough to be on a pad. I have researched the Internet all night, but was just wondering if anyone had similar experiences and what the results were. Scared that it could be a miscarriage, but I don't have back pain or cramping. I pushed my self hard today cooking thanksgiving for 15 ppl, but I am just not sure. Any advice/prayers are appreciated!

If possible, try to take it easy today. Stay hydrated. I had some red spotting around that time whenever I was too active due to a subchorionic hematoma that has since gone away. I hope your doc gets back to you soon.

You did the right thing to call your OB, even if it is normal. I was severely ill on Wednesday and experienced bright pink spotting. I am sure my OB did not enjoy calling me back on the night before Thanksgiving, but she was very reassuring. From what I understand, if it is heavy bleeding, even sudden and heavy to soak a pad - then be really checking! Kudos to you for cooking for Thanksgiving. I was sick Wednesday and weak all day yesterday, so I was useless!

I had bright red spotting bleeding, brown spotting and pink spotting on and off throughout my entire pregnancies with both of my two healthy boys. After numerous early ultrasounds, blood tests, etc. no one really could figure out why as everything always looked perfect in my uterus. It's really hard to know anything definitive on u/s before 6 weeks or before a baby/heartbeat can be seen so its kind of a waiting game. The doctor thought for me, it was my likely cervix being sensitive as there is more blood flow and vessels burst easier I guess.

I'm 5 weeks right now and haven't had any spotting with this pregnancy so far, but I'm just waiting for it to start. It seems to be the rule, rather than the exception for me. It's definitely nerve wracking, that's for sure. I'm not saying its normal, or there's nothing to worry about but these things do turn out ok sometimes!

I know it's scary and so frustrating not knowing what's going on but try not to panic!

Best of luck to you!
