I just have to say I absolutely hate that phrase. Lately it seems to have become the catch phrase of this board, its somewhat irritating. I wish there was an app for my browser like http://unbaby.me/ but for irritating phrases that would change them to intelligent conversation starters or obcure trivia facts.
Perhaps that saying doesn't resonate with you, which is why you don't appreciate it. For me, the first time I ever heard it, I thought, "Oh my god, that's what I do!" and it really helped reel me back in to reality. So, I actually really like that saying and it helps ground me when I get really anxious. But, different strokes different folks.
