Hey, introduction:)

Hi everyone!  We just moved to Lajes Field in the Azores.  We've been here about a month now.  It's been interesting so far and I'm looking forward to the rest of our tour here.  We have a 1 year old (turned 1 Nov 8) and we have been married for 3 1/2 years.  My husband is Active Duty Air Force so that's how we were stationed over here. 

I'm patiently (not so much) waiting the arrival of our house hold goods.  They have arrived on the island so hopefully they can be delivered this week.  We should be able to pick up our car today which will help also.  Although the walking everywhere has been great for my weight loss!   

Not sure if there are any bumpies that are here also but I look forward to getting to know you girls.  Thanks!

Hi and welcome! I'm an American living in the UK with my British DH, and we are expecting our first child in May. I just moved over in June, and I was so glad when my household goods shipment arrived and I could stop working out of a few suitcases! Hope your things arrive safely and soon.

Hello :) I think you are on my BMB (Dec '11) DH and I are both Americans living in Scotland with our 11 month old DD.  I too, was so glad when our shipment finally arrived because it made everything feel more like home. Hopefully, you can get your things this week!

How long will you be living in the Azores? I can't wait to hear more about your island! I have heard it is absolutely beautiful!

We should be here for about 2 years.  And congrats to those expecting!  So exciting!  

I really think that once our stuff gets here (thursday...yay!) that it will make it feel more like home.  We got our car today so that helps.
