Shoes or no shoes?

LO is starting to stand unassisted.  I am torn whether to send her to daycare with shoes or not.  I know it's easier to learn to walk without shoes, but there's a portion of the floor that's not carpeted, and it's cold - so I don't want her feet to get cold.

WWYD?

Thanks!

I like Robeez soft soles for early walkers.  Now that it is getting colder, I put a pair of socks underneath, and he basically walks around in the Robeez all day.  We have some socks with the grippers on the bottom, but E likes to pull those off.  He hasn't figured out how to get the Robeez off yet.

We use the socks with the traction on the bottom, but I still worry about her feet getting cold.  We got her a pair of shoes at Stride Rite this weekend for early walkers, but I'd like to hold off having her wear them in the house and at daycare.

DS has shoes, but doesn't wear them. I want him to walk really well before we start adding in more obstacles.

Same as last post. My son doesn't wear shoes and rarely wears socks (he pulls those off in 2 seconds flat even when I try). Sometimes I do feel like a hippy mom not putting shoes on my son, especially when I have a friend that has a different pair of shoes for each outfit, but honestly, my son does much better without the unnecessary obsticle of having shoes on. He is so close to walking, so I don't want to detour that with adding confusion with shoes. And he runs hot anyway, so I doubt he's cold when full clothed, but without socks. And we have tile.
