bubbasloveshak:I have been off of BCP's for about 4 months now and have been temping/charting Needless to say my cycles are not yet regular (22, 31 and 24 days). I just got a call to remind me of my annual exam which according to FF would be during my period, but it seems every month that FF moves my predicted period days by at least a few days. Should I call to reschedule? I have been having some "issues" during my period which have me a little bit concerned, so I don't know if I want to put it off for too long, but they are scheduling into January now.
I would call this fairly regular. Not ideal and annoying; yes. But not "irregular". I have been off the BCP since February and my cycles have been; 28, 32, 30, 32, 28, 33, 29, 29, 30. They still seem to be "changing". I had light 4-5 day periods for about the first 7 cycles and for the past 2 months, they have been about 2 days and very heavy (for me). I had no cramps for the first 7 months, now I've been having to take a pain reliever and they wake me up at night. I'm currently on my period and have now had 2 solid days of heavy bleeding and lots of cramping. Last month I only had 1 day of heavy bleeding/cramping.
In regards to your appointment, I would keep it. If you happen to be on your period when the appointment comes, I would call the office and let them know the situation. If you have questions, they may have you keep the appointment to get them answered and then reschedule your annual.
