Tension/Sinus headache

I have had this headache for about 3 weeks now, it is a dull constant ache, mostly behind my eyes and in the back of my head and down one side of my neck. I wake up with it most days.

I first thought it was sinus related since when I would lower my head the pressure/pain in my sinus area would increase, but now I don't feel that anymore.

Is anyone else having constant headaches?  I know I can take Tylenol but that has never done anything for me before so I haven't been trying.

Any other tips to relieve this constant annoying pain?

I had the same thing for about 2 weeks. Try hot or cold compresses on your forehead, and back of your neck. (I forget which one helps sinus and which helps tension - hot or cold - I did both) It didn't make the headache disappear, but it did relieve a little of the pressure. And, I totally agree with you on the Tylenol - however - it did help a lot. Give it whirl. Feel better.

Ive been waking up with a headache for the past week. Its so annoying and painful. Extra strength tylenol does help me but I hate to take it everyday. Good luck!

I actually had a sinus infection last week. My OB prescribed a pack of Zithromycin it was so bad. Touching my closed eye hurt on the right side, so did bringing my teeth together -- and everything in-between ached. I also had a low grade fever and chills.

The Z-pack had me feeling better withing hours of taking the first dose.

I've read over and over that mucus membranes swell during pregnancy. I'm sure it is related to that, sorry you have to deal with it.

I have had the exact same problem!  My headaches started out as sinus headaches and got worse from there.  I finally googled ways to deal with sinus issues and came up with a routine that works pretty well for me.

 -hot/cold compresses on the forehead.

-saline spray (to keep the nasal passages moisturized)

-sleep with a humidifier (the ones that you can add vick's to are the best!)

-Sudafed.  I take half a 12 hour pill whenever I feel a sinus headache coming on (a full pill makes me jumpy).  For a while there the pain was chronic and I had to take one every day but once I started doing the other things religiously the pain was no longer a constant.  Sudafed was on the list my doctor gave me as a-ok.

-Sinus rinses.  Sounds gross and it is, but it works like a charm.  When things are really bad I do it before bed and in the morning, but lately I've been getting by with just one every other day.

 Good luck!

Im sorry you are having those, I have had mine in the same spot for the past few weeks as well.  The tylenol doesnt help.  My doctor reccommended that I have some caffen with my tylenol.  It does seem to help sometimes.  But ive just been painfully dealing with it. :(

I've had a migraine for about the same amount of time. It's horrible and nothing is working. I have a massage scheduled and will see a chiro too. Hopefully something will help.

I've had a constant headache that spreads from the base of my skull, behind my eyes, into my eyebrows, and in my jaw. It is for sure a tension/sinus combination thing and, like some PPs, Tylenol doesn't help. I'm gonna try some of the other suggestions here.

My doctor said it is safe to take Benadryl so when I have any sinus pressure like you are describing that seems to help.

It's exact thing happened to me between week 13-18ish.  It ending in me getting a head cold.  Tylenol coupled with caffeine helped and sinus rinses were the only things that helped.  I did end up taking Tylenol PM during my head cold, which was ok'd by my OB.  Since then I've only had it a couple of times and if I really push the sinus rinses, it keeps it to a one day thing.
