Anovulatory cycle? WDYT?

AF came Saturday evening but lasted only a few hours (It was red and definitely a "flow" when it first started). Yesterday morning I found an almost dry tampon and the rest of the day was very VERY light spotting. Last night there was nothing, not even spotting and this morning is the same. I had ZERO pms this cycle, which is really unusual for me. I got a BFN on friday, while its possible it was a false negative, I really doubt it. During my FW this month I was a little worried that I had way less CM than usual but figured it wasn't a big deal.

I realize you guys aren't Doctors, but WDYT? Does this sound like it could be a anovulatory cycle? If so, does that mean I will have to wait until after my next 'normal' cycle to TTC? Since I just changed insurance and can't make an appointment with my new doctor until the 1st when its effective or I would just ask him >_<  I'm just looking for some possibilities of what could be going on. This is all so frustrating. Auntie Flo picked one he*l of a time to start screwing around.

Are you charting? This is the only way to confirm whether or not it was/is annovulatory. It might just be a fluke if it actually was. I would start temping so you will have a better idea as to what is going on with your cycles. A doctors appointment is not needed at this point.

That's sorta what's happening with me right now.  Just started CD 1 yesterday with a typical flow and cramps, then by the end of the day and overnight had a dry tampons/pads with some minor spotting.  I never O'd last cycle (you can see my chart in my siggy). I'm counting it as AF and treating this cycle as a brand new one and doing the same things I've been doing, except hopefully Oing this cycle.

I would just treat this as a 'normal' cycle and look for O and hump it out.  Good luck!

I wasn't charting, but I was keeping track of my CM and periods, I was going to start this month, so I went ahead a put in what information I had for last cycle. During my FW I had wet CM but usually I have a lot of EWCM, at the time I was concerned, but I figured "wet" is still fertile, so it was just a weird month. Now I'm not so sure.
I want to start temping but it will probably have to wait until next month because its going to be a weird month so my schedule will be all over the place. Maybe I'll just find a way to do it now.

Mostly I'm just worried that I won't have a chance this cycle since I didn't really get a period.

Thank You! That was actually my next question. I wasn't sure if I should just count this as a new cycle and just keep trying. :). FX crossed that you ovulate this cycle.

Temping is the only way to confirm O.  I've had plenty of annovulatory cycles where my body followed the "regular" fertile CM patterns.  I am proof that you can have EWCM, +OPKs at the "right" time, and every other symptom, pattern, etc. that corresponds to ovulation and still not ovulate.  I've also had ovulatory cycles where I barely had any EWCM.  My body is a wonderland of fertility mayhem.
