Thoughts? I have never thought much of this name before but heard it today and it sounded so pretty. Big sister is Josephine nn Josie.

Josie and Louise is just the most darling sibset ever. I would love to use Louise, but it just doesn't work with our last name.

I used to hate this name, but it's definitely grown on me. I wouldn't use it myself, but I would definitely find it refreshing to hear on a little girl.

I am all about old fashioned names but I can't get on board with Louise because all the ladies I've know with it have been nicknamed Wheezy and hated it. I do like Louisa though.

This exactly! It's my mom's MN, so I've definitely considered it. I would just want to make sure the NN was Lou and not Wheezy, if you or others want a NN.

I really don't like it, unless its used as a mn with a long first name. Josephine Louise would have sounded beautiful... Or Alexandria Louise.
