So much cheesecake and no one to stop me!

So my parents sent home ALL the leftovers from Thanksgiving home with me. I ended up with like 5 pieces of cheesecake (from one of those cheesecake factory sampler thingies) and I already ate 2 of them over the weekend. I have in my hand the last 3 - one chocolate, one blueberry white chocolate, and one new york with strawberry topping - and I am eating them all!! (they are skinny slivers btw)

I am trying to clear leftovers out of my fridge before we go to the hospital, so my house doesn't stink when we get back, and my SO doesn't eat cheesecake, so here I sit, sampling them all, and feeling like a total piggy.

But then I just tell myself so what, I only have a day or so left to be pregnant, and I better enjoy it before I go into "loose the baby weight mode"

Anyone else? Someone make me feel better about this!! LOL :)

Sounds like me yesterday grandma sent home half an apple pie from Thanksgiving leftovers. So when I opened the fridge yesterday morning to find breakfast the pie was just calling to me and i ate about three nice sized pieces...and finished the rest with dinner! No shame here! It was Delicious!

Ha ha! My mom sent home a bunch of her pineapple upside down cake with me. I started eating the big chunk and actually threw it in the trash so I coudn't eat the whole darn thing! That is why I am not allowed to have junk food in my house. I have zero self-control.

I bought a cheesecake for dessert for Thanksgiving and since my husband does not eat carbs it was all for me. It took me two and a half days to scarf down the whole thing. It was a small one (smaller than a regular sized pie) but my husband was shocked that I finished it. I agree with you that soon I am going to be trying to loose all the baby weight so I am enjoying this stage while I can. I have only gained 9 lbs so far and Im 28 weeks so I figured I would survive. I have my 1 hr gtt today and all I can think about is that cheesecake!! If I fail this test, all the blame is going on the cheesecake!!!

I did the same thing! We ended up with a tray of mini-cheesecake bites and three mini strawberry cheesecakes. I ate them all since my BF didn't want them...and I also ate a piece of chocolate pudding pie and Oreo pie.

Then someone brought in a huge platter of assorted homemade Christmas cookies to my office. There were these amazing chocolate covered pretzel sandwhich cookies with peanut butter in the middle...I told everyone how great they were and then ate almost all of them. And the best part? Because I'm pregnant no one even got mad :)

I figure I'll just remember this when I'm mad that I gained a ton of weight I can't lose...but its soooo worth it right now.

No shame! I go days where I don't want to eat at all and have days where I want to eat everything in sight. We hosted Turkey Day for the first time this year and even though I sent everyone home with left overs, we have a ton in our fridge still. The other night, hubs and I sat down to have some dessert. He had a piece of pie and I had cheesecake with cherries and homemade whipped cream and a huge scoop of death by chocolate. He side eyed me and I told him to shove it :P. It was amazing. Enjoy it!

I'll say f**k it!!

Eat it while you can.

it's cheesecake!! That's my main craving right now.

You and I know you are not supposed to, but I know exactly how you feel like.

If no one stops you just eat it and enjoy it!

 I actually got my self one of the mixed flavors from walmart, frozen section, and my husband doesn't eat cheesecake,

he doesnt even open the freezer, so he doesn't know I got it.

On Thanksgiving morning I went to the bakery and bought a pumpkin pie. I ate some before going to a family thanksgiving meal, ate some after the meal, and have been eating some everyday since. I just finished the last piece. I wish I could say someone helped me eat it but I can only blame it on the baby :)
