Waiting sucks

IVF class today went good. Learned a lot and eager to get started...

BUT my RE has had me on BCP since June when my endo was removed to keep it suppressed until we were ready to begin. When I was at his office 2 1/2 weeks ago for sonogram and ultrasound, I asked him if I should stop taking the BCP. He said no, keep taking it until after class.

So they told me today at class that NOW I can stop taking them and take a month off of BCP before we begin the cycle. So it looks like ER/ET won't actually take place until the beginning of Feb  :-(

I'm just tired of waiting.
Married 8/14/10 * TTC since Aug 2010 * Met with RE in Feb 2012 * DH: low motility, low sperm count, elevated FSH * Me: Stage 4 Endometriosis * Laparotomy to remove endo in May 2012 * June 2012 - DH on Rx to hopefully increase count/quality * Re-tested sperm 10/22/12, count/quality have both dropped * IVF #1 w/ICSI * Transferred 2 beautiful embryos on 2/18/13 * Beta #1 3/1/13 - 636!!! You have been waiting longer than me but I definitely understand. I feel like all I do with IF is wait. Wait for AF, wait for surgery, wait on bcp, wait to be cancelled. I'm sorry your having to wait so long.

Ugh I know! The waiting is brutal! I will be on a similar time frame. Hope the time goes fast! In the meantime I am trying to take all my vitamins and supplements, do acupuncture, and try to get my body ready. Do you have something you want to focus on getting done or enjoying before its not allowed? Maybe that will help. Hang in there!
Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology) 2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN! IUI #2 August = BFN! IUI #3 September = BFN! IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! I'm tired of waiting too.  But hey!!!  We are doing Feb together!!!!!
Me; 35 DH 32 TTC for over 2 years First mini-IVF Sept 2011... Only 1 egg! ... BFN Switching RE IVF#2 May 2012 9 eggs and only 2 sperm, WTH! BFN IVF#3 Chemical... FML. 2 frosties. SAIF/PAIF ALWAYS WELCOME!!!!!

I completely agree. I have to wait to start the IVF process until after my new insurance has been processed in January so we can (hopefully) get it approved. While mid/late January is not that far away it sure seems like the wait is taking forever.

I hear ya. It's so frustrating when you feel like you finally have a plan and are then stuck waiting some more. I recently got cancelled and my next cycle seems like FOREVER away even though I'll most likely do ER at the end of January. I'm tired of the waiting too, it's such a long and trying process.
