Antibiotics and running out question

Baby girl was on a 10 day antibiotic and she ran out yesterday, day 9...do I need to get th doc to call in another script? Or is 9 days ok?

I would call the pedi's office and ask what they want you to do. Did the pharmacy just not give you enough for 10 days?

Call the pedi's office.  This happened with us. It's super important to take the entire course of antibiotics.  They wrote us an entire new script and I just threw out what we didn't use.

:You can call your pharmacist too.  This happened to DD, they said it was ok since she took the whole bottle.  The particular one she was on was for use for 7-10 days, we used it 9, were suppose to use it 10 but ran out for some reason.
