I haven't ever heard of it before.  I think the spelling is going to trip people up, so that makes me not so much a fan.

It's a Greek spelling. I wouldn't want to change that but I thought it might be confusing!

Is this pronounced with a hard A? Ayla?  A-luh?  That spelling looks confusing.

Maybe you'd like Aelia?  A-lee-uh? its a Roman name.

Don't like it.  I'm not a fan of names you would have to correct people or tell people how to spell or pronounce every.single.time.
