Update

Right around mid November I posted a request for thoughts, prayers, good juju, anything for one of my best friends who went into labor and had her son at about 14 to 15 Weeks early.

I want to thank all of you who cared. Baby AJ came into this world quite a bit early due to my friends placenta rupturing. She went into contractions and delivered within a few hours. Baby AJ came in at 1lb 12 oz. So far things have been good going for him in the NICU. After losing his birth weight, 4Oz, he's back at it as of a few days ago. He had a touch of jaundice, but within days the light treatment worked and he was removed. Everything is coming back good for him. Last night, my friend saw him open his eyes for the first time. The nurses have been weaning him off the ventilator a bit and he can grasp fingers...as well as a baby so small can grasp.
He had a blood transfusion a few days ago and did well with it and things are just looking up overall. We know its still a long road, and he still has bad days or nights, but the good have been far outweighing the bad.
As for me, I've been there to hear her cry and listen to her. I only commented once about how it's not her fault this happened. Her MIL made her feel bad about the depression she had been going through during her pregnancy...her father passed suddenly this year and he was her everything. I just reminded her how her drs and the hospital knew story and when she had asked them, they advised her that these things can just happen.

Many thanks to all of you! I didn't want to update too early, just in case and I wanted to give you some good news built up.

Thanks for continuing to keep them in your thoughts. I will let her know. She is so thankful, she has so much help! I'll update when I have more info, maybe another two Weeks.
