How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far?

I had my Mirena removed in August, started temping and using OPKs since September. Im pretty encouraged that my cycles are pretty much back to normal and have been consistent. Ive been nervous having had Mirena in for so long how it would affect things, still waiting to see.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs?

We have mentioned the possibility of adding another brother or sister, the kids seem excited and happy. My DD said she wants a sister and if we get another brother she'll just DIE! Pretty dramatic, huh? My DS says he WILL have a brother, he says he needs to teach him all the gross stuff he knows how to do, i.e. his new armpit farting talent. Yeah, so its safe to say someone will be disappointed. Lol. We have not told them that we are actively TTC, we say it might happen someday.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along?

I do. My DD had a very difficult time when DS came along. I think now that shes older, shell be more of an involved helper and enjoy the experience at least for a little while. My DS might be a different story. He is a mommas boy all the way, I have babyed him for far too long and it might come back to bite me. I'm definitely taking steps now to move him in the right direction and become more independent.

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! No Thanksgiving here in Canada, but after hearing about all the yummy food I am thinking about doing a turkey dinner soon!

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? Sept 2012, I have my doubts often enough. Life is so crazy with just one I sometimes wonder how it will all work with another. Plus my friend just announced she is pregnant with twins. So #2 ended up being #2 and #3... I would be beyond stressed. I know it will all fall in place, but I am a born worrier.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? No, she is too young. She wouldn't understand until I was well into the pregnancy.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? I haven't really thought about it. I know there will be a transition, but I haven't really thought about the specifics. Another thing to worry about... lol.

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? 4 months now, dealing with wonky cycles after coming off BCP in August and hope they settle down soon.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? Yes, and she's quite ok with it, she's going away to school so is actually more upset she won't be around for all of the fun! So no worries about jealousy either. :)

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? This is our first cycle (second month) trying. I am 3 DPO. I don't have my hopes up since its only the first cycle!

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? My daughter is 6. She has been asking for a while now for a little sister/brother. We tell her it takes a while but we will eventually have a baby. :)

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? The age difference I think is a plus. My son is a Mommy's boy. I would worry a little about him. Over all, I think they will both be happy!

Thoughts and feelings so far? Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? She's a bit young to understand this. We aren't hiding it and have told her, but I don't think she knows what it means.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? A little, she'll still be a bit young. I am worried about how the transition out of the nursery to her new room will go.

Mirena out 9/14, first cycle 9/17 TTA that cycle due to abnormal pap and colposcope appointment, so officially TTC beginning after my second cycle in October this year. This is a new experience for me. We got a BFP with our first less than 60 days after stopping BCPs. I didn't do a lot of research last time. I was 29, but since I'm 33 this time I've done some homework!

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? We ask her if she wants a baby brother/sister and she always says yes, but varies on the sex. She does without fail say she wants to name the baby "ABCD" boy or girl it's pretty hilarious!

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? Not yet, I figure we will deal with it when the time comes

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? Just entered the 4th month. I really need this to be the month and I am really hopeful due to our great timing - 4 days in the FW.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? Not really. Too young. I ask him sometimes if he wants a baby and he looks at me like I have 3 heads.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? Not really. I don't think too much far ahead. I do worry about dividing attention because I am so used to having one.

He saw a little girl last week at the store and asked if we could take it. He also doesn't understand that we can't have an older child he keeps saying he wants a sisser like dahlia, but her sister is 8.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? Somewhat.  DS is very attached to DH and I, so I think it may be hard for him to transition from not having all the attention.

Thank you!!!! I had to work everyday since thanksgiving... today is my first day off.  At least all of this work has kept me busy

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far?  I finished the pill in August and have been trying so far since then.  It took us a year and a half with DD and 6 months with DS, but I was not on BCP for YEARS before TTGP with either of them, so I am worried that it could take a while this time around since my cycles still seem to be a bit unpredictable.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs?  DD says all the time that she thinks we need another baby, but we won't really sit down and have that conversation with her until we are actually pregnant.  DS is too little to understand and sort of in his own reckless 2.5 year old world.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? Not really, my kids are 26 months apart, so when DS was born DD had just turned 2, and she took to him really well.  I am a little concerned about how DS may handle another baby, he doesn't have attachment issues or anything like that but he's very destructive and sneaky, for instance we learned the hard way that he can unlock our front door on Thanksgiving when we found him standing in our front yard and our dog and my inlaw's dog frolicking down the street!   But DD will be in school full day next Sept and DS will be going to pre-school at least a few hours a week, so hopefully that helps!

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far?: We've been trying since August and are on our fifth cycle. It's been a stressful and heartbreaking journey so far. I quit temping and am just charting CM now.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs?: When I had my BFP I taught her how to say "Sister" and "baby." 

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along?: Yes. I worry about how I will balance my time as a SAHM and then with school and eventually work as well. Adalyn adores babies, though, so that's positive.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs?  I've said "What would you think about a little brother or sister?" to him, but he's too young to really get it.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? Yes, a lot.  When we visited one of my friends recently I went to hold her baby girl and DS got very jealous and tried to squeeze his way into my lap. I worry about how he will handle a sibling.

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? I had my IUD removed in April, this is my 6th cycle trying. I'm super excited that I just got my first ever positive opk (just started using them this month) so DH and I will be busy for the next couple of days.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? Not really, I think he's still too young to really understand. 

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? Nope, but I guess I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving.  Despite working black friday I managed to have a good one.

 No. of LOs and ages: DD is 3.

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far?  We have been trying since August and currently at the end of a TTA cycle(personal reason we decided to TTA this cycle).  I know we haven't been trying very long but it's always kind of a let down then AF showed up.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs?  Yes and No.  Periodically I will ask if she wants a baby brother or sister and she will answer yes and say which one(changes on a daily basis).  A couple of her friends now have new siblings so she is around babies and will sometimes say she has a pretend sibling.

So you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along?  At the moment I am not.  I honestly think DD would benefit from a sibling.  She seems to thrive when she has someone else to talk to or play with.  As a SAHM I think she gets bored with just me.  We have thought about a pet but we do not want to deal with training a puppy and being pregnant/having a new born at the same time.  I am hoping the transition will be smooth, especially now that once I get pregnant the new baby will not arrive until after DD turns 4.

How long have you been trying for another?   Since the end of the summer...so 3 months.

Thoughts and feelings so far?   Hoping this cycle is it. I have been feeling pretty hopeful the past couple days and I pray my 6th sense is kicking in! :)

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs?  Not really...she's too young to really understand. But I have asked her if she wants a sister or brother several times and she always answers "brother!!!" very enthusiastically. :)

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along?  A little bit. DD is very social and loving, and I have no doubt she will adjust fine to having a sibling, but she also loves attention and I can see her not doing very well in the beginning when the baby will need a lot of our time. Guess that's typical though!

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? This is our third cycle, so not that long. However, we had to delay when we wanted to start because of my job's leave policy, so it feels like cycle #6 or so. Still not that bad, but we were hoping for an under 3 yrs age gap and not another Christmas birthday (still possible, of course, but I feel myself getting impatient faster this time.)

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? Nope. Not sure he even knows the concept. We'll have 9 months to let that settle in.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? DEFINITELY. DS is a major mama's boy. In a lot of ways he's independent but sometimes he's extremely clingy. He'd be very jealous. In that sense I'm glad we don't have a smaller age gap (i.e. already having the second child now.) Sometimes I see him play with dolls at daycare (he only has one of his own, which I hope to change for his birthday or xmas) in a sweet manner and that gives me hope. :-)

Thoughts and feelings so far? I have second thoughts occasionally when DD gets into her tantrums, but it hasn't deterred us yet.

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? We started trying in July. We didn't use a condom once and had DD, so I think in the back of my mind I thought we'd be lucky again and get KU easily again. It's okay though, I've learned a ton about my body through the process and putting some extra time in there has probably been good for my work situation (I just started in March). 

 Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? Most of my friends have LOs DD's age and have already had a 2nd or 3rd. So Tillie is always asking for a little brother or sister. 

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? There may be. She'll be well past 4 yo by the time we hopefully have a second. That's a long time to be an only child. She used to being very spoiled by everyone. I think she'll be really excited too and I think the responsibility will be good for her. She's very interested right now in being my little helper.

How long have you been trying for another? Thoughts and feelings so far? Just starting this month. petrified and excited all at once.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? No because we finally decided to try again  once we're actually KU we'll start talking about it with him.

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along?  Yes, he is a momma's boy and I hope he does not feel left out or feels abandoned when we have another I have to care for.

No. of LOs and ages: 1 DS (10 months) and 2 SDs (7 and 8)

Trying for No 2 for me, 4 for DH

How long have you been trying for another? We tried for a month and then TTA for a few more months.  We are going to TTA until January because I decided that I would like to be able to have a glass of wine or two during the holidays this year

Thoughts and feelings so far? Excited and nervous.  I had a girlfriend who just found out she is pregnant and she is in the first trimester doldrums, with morning sickness and fatigue and speaking with her makes me remember how yucky tht time was.

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? LoL.... not really, he's too young

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? I'm not too worried.  DS is super social thus far and has yet to meet a baby or child he doesn't like.

Thank you!!!! I had to work everyday since thanksgiving... today is my first day off.  At least all of this work has kept me busy

Thoughts and feelings so far? I am hopeful..... I am 9 dpo and I broke down and took a test. I dont know if there was a super faint line or my eyes playing tricks on me

Have you discussed adding a sibling with your LOs? I dont think she would understand but she loves babies

Do you worry about any transition/jealousy issues when a new baby comes along? I think there might be but I am hoping to have them close in age so they will be best friends
