Preparing formula with rice cereal

Per doctor's orders I have to add a tablespoon of rice cereal per 2oz of formula each feeding now. My question is do I have to prepare each bottle when I need it? Or can I prepare them ahead of time? I forgot to ask the doctor.

You can't prep them ahead of time as it will get really. Clumpy.  You can put the formula and rice in a bottle and just wait to add the liquid.

we have the water measured out already in the bottles and have the formula w/the cereal mixed into it in the Munchkin dispenser and it makes it so much easier for middle of the night bottles.  http://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Powdered-Formula-Dispenser-Colors/dp/B0009ET94A

Hmmm...we make it ahead of time and it never gets clumpy.

I think it says right on the box not to make the cereal w/ the formula/milk ahead of time...not sure if it spoils or what.  I know if we wait too long it'll get clumpy in the bottles.
