Baby moon

Has anyone gone on a "baby moon?" We just got back from Jamaica! It was really fun, however people were just staring at me and it was a little strange and I felt a little awkward... Sort of like the black sheep of the resort. It took a day to adjust to it.

We went to Vegas when I was 5 months pregnant with our first. It was awesome and I'd recommend a babymoon to anyone.

Agreed.  I've been on a little.  I was out of town over the Holiday so I popped on and off on my iphone, but I hate the mobile site.  I've been volunteering all week and interviewing for a housekeeper/nanny. 

I did pop in the other night for the "butt hoes" post.  I'm still cracking up over that. Every time my H makes me mad now I call him a butt hoe.

We're headed to the Dominican Republic next Friday for 10 days.  We don't consider it a Babymoon because we go on a 10+ day tropical vacation every year some time between Thanksgiving in Christmas.  Your post has me a bit worried now.  LOL.  I finally decided to wear bikinis (the thought of one pieces makes me sad) and now I'm convinced I'm going to have to deal with strange looks the entire vacation.  Oh well!  Glad you had fun.

FWIW, I live in Miami and I see tons of pregnant bellies in bikinis.  I always wear one!  Haven't noticed a side-eye yet!

We were supposed to be on vacation in Curaçao this week; had to cancel due to my medical issues.  Hoping to be well enough in another week or so to take a small trip closer to home.

We're headed to Riviera Maya Mexico next week. I plan on wearing my bikini and give an eye right back to anyone who gives me one!

It's also the easiest vacation I've ever packed for - not much for maternity summer clothes! 2 pairs of shorts from Old Navy (on sale online!) and about 4 tanks tops, a pair of jeans and bikinis.

We jumped at the chance to have our babymoom with our first! I was 4 months along & we went to Sandals in Jamaica. I think I was the only preggo there too lol.

Wish we could do it again with our 2nd but I dont think I could leave DD for a full week.
