Mary Kate

I love love love the name Mary Kate and always have.

There are a lot of family ties for me personally. Full name would be Mary Kathryn (My birth mom's name is Mary and my mom's name is Kathryn). 

However, I feel like it doesn't work with our last name (Green) or with DD1 (Noelle Marie).

What do you think? WWYD?

I think Mary Kathryn Green sounds great together. Mary Kate Green doesn't flow as well, but I think it's something you could get used to. I like the significance and I think it's fine with DD's name.

I think it sounds fine with your last name and I love it with DD1.  Love the family significance so I would totally use it.

I think that the "r" sounds in Kathryn and Green sound a little weird together but not weird enough to not use it if you absolutely love the name.

I love the names and the meaning but just wanted to point out the Mary Katherine Gallagher reference in case you didn't think of it... Not sure if that bothers you or not...

Haha! Totally my first thought.

I like it in its full first and middle, but never cared for it as Mary Kate. Mary is NMS either really, but I love Katherine in any use, middle and first.
